About Sarah:
Sarah Beardslee is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Religion/Philosophy from Friends University and her Masters in Counseling from Regent University in Virginia. She is a board approved clinical supervisor for new therapists (LPC). Sarah has over 10 years’ experience working in various mental health settings in Wichita and throughout the country.
Sarah works with individuals ages 13 and older. Although she works with all mental health disorders, she is particularly known for her work with anxiety, phobias, panic, trauma (she is trained in EMDR), conflict resolution, shame, and boundary issues in relationships. She works to stay up to date on current research and evidence-based treatments in these areas.
If you are looking for someone who will provide a safe space to feel valued, respected, and heard while being challenged to learn and practice new things, then Sarah is a good fit. It is her top priority to help people reach their goals in therapy and does this by combining humor, compassion, and accountability. For those interested, she has been trained to integrate a Christian perspective into her counseling, tailored to each person’s desired level of integration. However, whether someone is a Christian or not, Sarah provides high quality care and professionalism for everyone she works with.

Pure joy. Date nights with my hubby, playing with my kiddos, laughing out loud, hiking in the mountains, camping, having an adventure, hibernating during the winter (if only!), family pajama days, dancing like a fool to music, and my kids painting my face.
